Governance

La Bon Vie is governed by La Bon Vie Homeowners Association through its duly elected Board of Directors. HOA Directors are elected every spring at the Association’s Annual Meeting held in April.

The HOA is charged with:
(a) Maintaining our Common Areas — which include entrance gates, landscaping, trees, streets, and two ponds with five lighted fountains; and
(b) Enforcing our Covenants and Restrictions.

Please take time to review our Community Documents. It will be helpful for you to understand what you can expect of your neighbors, and what they can expect of you.

COMMUNITY DOCUMENTS
According to the Louisiana Homeowners Association Act at La RS 9:1141.8: “The community documents of residential planned communities shall have the force of law between the homeowners association and the individual lot owners and as between individual lot owners. The remedies for breach of any obligation imposed on lot owners or the association shall include damages, injunctions, or such other remedies as are provided by law.”
